Little Cat Menace
Privacy Policy

Cactalyst Limited · Effective 25 September 2026

Little Cat Menace is a cat adventure game. You can play without creating an account. This policy explains what stays on your device and what is sent when you choose to share gameplay feedback.

Game data on your device

Cat names, adventure progress, care state, preferences and purchase entitlement are stored on your device. The game does not send your cat names or saved progress to our gameplay feedback service. Your device backup settings may include app data in an Apple backup.

Optional gameplay feedback

The game can record local text logs of gestures and game events. Recording is initially enabled and can be switched off in Settings. This is not a screen, camera or microphone recording.

Logs leave your device when you choose Send game log or enable Auto-send playtest logs. Automatic sending is off by default. Logs contain a random identifier for each recording, recording date, app and operating system version, iPhone or iPad device class, game coordinates, gesture timing, game events, outcomes and performance measurements. They do not contain your name, email address, cat names, advertising identifier or payment details.

We use shared logs to understand controls, difficulty and technical performance. Logs are transferred over HTTPS to our service hosted by Vercel and stored in private Vercel Blob storage. Our hosting provider also processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, to operate and protect the service. We do not use these logs for advertising or combine them with advertising profiles.

Your choices and retention

You can turn off recording or automatic sending in Settings. Turning off automatic sending stops future automatic transfers but does not erase logs already sent. Local gameplay history is limited to the ten most recent recordings; pending uploads are bounded separately. Removing the app removes its local data, subject to any device backups you keep.

Shared logs are retained while needed for troubleshooting and game improvement, then removed. The service does not currently promise automatic deletion after a fixed number of days. To ask us to find or delete a shared log, email info@cactalyst.com. Include its recording date and, if available, the recording identifier from a log exported using Share gameplay log. We do not maintain a player account directory and may need these details to identify a particular recording. Provider operational records follow the provider's retention practices.

Purchases

Apple handles in-app payment and purchase restoration. We do not receive your card details. The app uses Apple's StoreKit to verify the full-game unlock. Apple processes transaction information under Apple's privacy policy.

Support

If you contact us, we receive the email address and information you choose to include. We use that information to answer and resolve your request and retain it only as needed for support and applicable record-keeping obligations. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information in gameplay logs or support messages.

Sharing and tracking

We use service providers to host and protect our services. We do not sell gameplay feedback or use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect the security of our services. Hosting and support may involve processing outside your country.

Children and family use

The game does not ask players for an age or require a personal profile. Parents or guardians can manage purchases through Apple settings and leave optional gameplay sharing disabled. Contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information that should be removed.

Policy updates and contact

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date. For privacy requests, contact Cactalyst Limited at info@cactalyst.com.
